What makes a good vocabulary app?
Two things, and neither is the word list. The first is how cheap it is to add a word the moment you meet it — if it takes five minutes you will not do it. The second is whether the app decides when to show it to you again, because you cannot judge that yourself.
How many words should I learn a day?
Fewer than the number you can add. Every new word is a review commitment for months, so a sustainable rate is usually five to ten a day rather than the fifty a chapter list suggests. Toly is built around a daily minutes goal rather than a word quota for this reason.
Which languages can I build vocabulary in?

Does Toly teach grammar too?
No. Toly is a vocabulary and recall tool, not a course. It pairs well with a course, a tutor or a textbook — it is the part that makes sure the words from them stay with you.

Yes. Tap Scan below the create-card input and photograph the page. Toly extracts the words as tappable chips and writes a card for each one you pick.
